If a game has no buttons at all, nothing has been published for it yet. The page still shows the teams, the time and the venue.

Watching a game
Every game has its own page. What you can watch appears as one button per stream or replay.
This guide covers the game page and what starts playing when you press a button: the sponsor billboard, the live scoreboard over the video, and what happens when a game needs paid access.
Opening a game
Select any card, anywhere in the app, and you land on that game's page. It works the same from Home, from Search, from a team page and from your calendar.
What is on the game page
The page leads with a status badge and the two teams. Below them sit the details, and below those the buttons for whatever you can watch.
Live
A red badge, shown while a stream is running or the game is marked as in progress.
Coming
A dark badge for a game that has not started. Games already finished carry no badge at all.
Teams and score
Home team on the first row, away on the second, each with its club badge. Scores appear only when Show Game Results is on in Settings.
Competition, time and venue
The competition, the kick-off date and time, the venue, and the price when a game is paid. A game that has not started also shows a live countdown to kick-off.
Choosing what to watch
Each stream or replay gets its own button, labelled with what it is. A game can have several — the live stream and a highlights reel, for example — so read the labels rather than pressing the first one.
The sponsor billboard
Some streams open on a sponsor billboard before the video starts. A countdown in the corner shows how long is left, and playback begins on its own when it reaches zero.
The billboard is part of the stream, not an advert the app has inserted. Only games whose organizer has set one up will show it.
The live scoreboard
Once the video is playing, a scoreboard sits in the top-left corner: both club badges, the abbreviated team names and the score, then the period and the running clock in your league's colour.
The clock group only appears on live games. A replay shows the same bar without it, since there is no clock to run.
Games that need access
Some games need to be bought before they can be watched. Pressing the button then opens a screen with a QR code instead of starting the video.
1. Scan the code with your phone
The code opens the purchase page for this specific game in your phone's browser. Buy access there.
2. Come back to the TV
Press Done to close the screen, then press the stream button again — it plays once the purchase has gone through.
Purchases happen on the website, not on the Apple TV. There is nothing to type on the TV and no card details to enter with the remote.
