Venue information

Find games and facilities at a venue

Everything about a venue on one page: where it is, what it has, and what is being played there.

This guide shows you how to open a venue page from a match, get directions, check the pitches and facilities before you travel, and browse the venue's full schedule of past, current and upcoming games.

Opening the venue page

Open any match page and tap the venue name shown with the kick-off time. That takes you to the venue page for that match. A "Back to match" button in the top right returns you to where you came from.

If a match is played on one pitch of a larger complex, the venue page shows the whole complex — so you see every pitch and every game at the site, not just the one field.

Location and directions

The top of the page shows a map with a pin on the venue, followed by the venue name and its full address.

1. Get directions

Tap "Get directions", or the pin on the map, to open the venue in Google Maps with directions from where you are. This is the quickest way to navigate there on match day.

Pitch info and facilities

Under the address you will find what the venue actually offers. This is worth checking before you travel, especially for an away fixture.

1. Pitch info

Lists each playing surface at the venue with its name, format, surface type, dimensions and whether it has flood lights. A venue with several pitches lists them one after another.

2. Facilities

Shows what is available on site — changing rooms, showers, toilets, a defibrillator, spectator seating and so on. A green tick means it is available, a red cross means it is not, and some entries show a number or a short note instead.

These sections only appear when the venue has information recorded. If a venue shows neither, nobody has added pitch or facility details for it yet.

Games at this venue

Below the venue card is the full schedule for the venue, grouped by date.

  • Previous — games already played at the venue, most recent first.
  • Today — everything being played at the venue today.
  • Upcoming — fixtures still to come.

Keep scrolling and more games load automatically. Tap any match to open its page.

The page opens on Today. If nothing is on today, it switches to Upcoming automatically so you always land on something useful.

What's next?

The venue page is read-only — it reflects the venue and fixture data held in the league management system. To change a match's venue, use a game change request from the match page instead.
